Recreation Outreach Center-Family Life Center

The Recreation Outreach Center of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church exists to lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, strengthen the church body, and glorify God through activities that compliment the ministries and vision of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church.

The purpose of the Recreation Outreach Center of Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church is:

To develop people – The ministries through the Recreation Outreach Center will help develop people physically, spiritually, socially, mentally, and emotionally. 1 Timothy 4:12

To create a Christian atmosphere – While using the building the people will exemplify Christian values and Christ-like attitudes: Christ honoring Building up of one another, Safety and Sportsmanship.

For Outreach – The building and its programs will help facilitate ministries that will reach out to the community.

Big Stevens Creek’s Recreation Outreach Center was opened in December 2006. It holds areas that include the Youth Area, Full Service Kitchen, and a gymnasium with 3 basketball courts. Events in it include the Wednesday night Fellowship meal, Youth Events and classrooms to include Sunday School, The Upward basketball and cheerleading leagues and other programs such as a Ladies Workout group,and  Social Events such as Wedding and baby showers.  There are open nights for youth events, “walking only” time and other special events.
