Illumination Station Vacation Bible School is coming to Big Stevens Creek Baptist Church, 

June 22-25, 2026. 1850 W Martintown Road, North Augusta, SC

 

Time: 6:00 to 8:15 pm. Free Family mealtime will be at 5 pm each day.


This year in VBS we will be shining a light on who Jesus really is. 

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

 

Classes available for children who have completed 3K through 6th Grade.

OUr Mission


Consider what Jesus came to do - to bring salvation to the world thus restoring the relationship between God and man by removing the barrier of our sin debt.  Our identity and the identity of the church is not that of Savior - we cannot save anyone.  We are the instrument through which Jesus touches lives with His love.  And our purpose for touching lives with His love is three-fold in nature.  We want people to come to a salvation relationship with Jesus; to be discipled and grown in this relationship; to be connected to His Body, the church.  There's not much more, if anything, we are to be doing than these three.

So, we have arrived at our mission statement.

for the purpose of salvation, discipleship, and connection.

Skip MYERS

Lead Pastor

Skip Myers was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He received his call to ministry at the beginning of his junior year of high school. Skip has a B.A. from UNC-G, a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Christian Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
